This article will teach you how to use the barcode scanner on the AssetTrax mobile app
If you utilize a field with a Barcode attribute on your items, you can fill in the desired barcode and then use the AssetTrax app to scan that barcode. The barcode will lead you directly back to the item in the workspace.
Opening and Using the Barcode Scanner
After opening the app, you will be brought to a view of your workspaces. Tap on the barcode icon to be brought to the barcode scanner.
Hold your camera up to the barcode that you are trying to scan. Tap accept on the result if it is the correct number.
Note: only one barcode can be in frame at one time.
This will bring you back to your dashboard and show you the item that matches the barcode number scanned. Tap on the barcode number to go to the item details page for that item.
