This article will teach you how to create and manage workspaces in the AssetTrax moblie app
You can create and manage workspaces on the go using the AssetTrax mobile app. You have access to all of the same fields and information as you do on the desktop version.
Creating a workspace
Once you log into the app, click the + icon next to the word Dashboard
Enter all of the required details for the type of workspace you will be creating.
Scroll down to view all other attributes that you can fill and and tap Save when you are ready to create the workspace.
You will then be brought to the new workspace. You can view the following tabs from here:
- Details: Edit any of the workspace details that you just entered.
- Docs: Upload any documents to be included in the workspace, including voice notes (which are covered in a separate article located here)
- Gallery: Upload or capture images to be used as the workspace cover image or moved to new lots (see this article for more details)
- Items: View all current items in the workspace and add new ones (see this article for more details)
You can tap the back button in the top-left hand corner to leave this workspace and view all workspaces again. You can come back to this workspace at any time by tapping its name in the dashboard.
Filtering Workspaces
From the dashboard, you can also filter workspaces by name and type.
Type into the search box to find a workspace by name:
Alternatively, click on the icon to the right of the search bar () to filter workspaces by type:
Workspace types currently visible will have a yellow background. Tap on the types you do not wish to view and tap on the word Show to hide other types of workspaces you do not wish to view.
